Kimberly Griffin ’93 Bio

Kimberly Griffin was born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi. She attended Callaway High School and graduated from The W in 1993 with BS in Journalism PR and a minor in Drama. She continued on to earn on a Masters Degree in Public Relations from the University of Southern Mississippi.

During her time at The W, Kimberly was active in Black Student Council, student government, theater and the newspaper staff. She was a founding member of the Pi Zeta Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha.

Ms. Griffin currently resides in Jackson, Mississippi where she works as the Sales Coordinator for the Jackson Free Press and is pursuing ordination in the United Methodist Church. She is a member of the Rho Lamda Omega Chapter and the Jackson Progressives.
